Lorenzo Princivalle

Lorenzo Princivalle is a practising lawyer in Bologna. He graduated in law in 1993, cum laude, and got a master degree in corporate law in 1995. 

He is a dual qualified lawyer: for Italy (avvocato, 1996, Bologna Bar Association no. 6732) and England and Wales (solicitor, non practising, 2012). He is qualified to practise before the Higher Courts in Italy.

Lorenzo Princivalle has been working as an in-house lawyer for over 13 years before going back to the legal practice, when, as an Italian avvocato, he founded Princivalle Apruzzi Danielli Law Firm in Bologna in 2009. 

During his career as a practising lawyer, he has developed a sound experience in commercial law, company law and banking law, areas in which he assists both domestic and international clients. 

He also deals with mergers and acquisitions and contracts in general. He deals on daily basis with agency and distribution agreements, shareholders agreements, sales and purchase agreement, corporate transactions (capital increses, demergers, shareholders’ meetings resolutions), etc. He has assisted his clients in several successful domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions.

In the banking law area, Lorenzo Princivalle he has assisted several small banks and financial entities (“intermediari finanziari”) in relation to compliance and regulatory matters related to the Italian banking law and the Instructions issued by the Bank of Italy and other regulatory authorities, anti-money laundering rules and contracts.

In his spare time Lorenzo enjoys running outdoors, preferably in the countryside around Bologna. He is keen on basketball. 

Valentina Apruzzi

Valentina Apruzzi is a lawyer with a strong experience in the field of new technologies and commercial law. She advises in  business law dealing with e-commerce and online contracts, information technology, internet law, data protection and intellectual property, international contracts and cross-borders related topics. 

She developed a specific expertise in online contracts by providing legal advice for web shops and assisting software house in the protection of software copyright and anti-piracy strategies, protection of domain names, registration and protection of trademarks. Mrs Apruzzi deals with drafting and negotiating software development contracts, source code escrow. 

In data protection area, she advises companies on the compliance of data processing with the requirements of domestic and European legislation (GDPR) and support them in trials before the Supervisory Authorities. Valentina Apruzzi is DPO of some multinational industrial companies. 

In the field of international commercial law, she deals with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in several industrial sectors. Before incorporating Princivalle Apruzzi, Danielli law firm she worked as an in-house counsel for multinational companies and leading companies in the automotive and banking sectors and has gained sound professional experience working for several international law firms. 

Graduated in Law at the University of Bologna then she passed a master’s degree in Informatics and New Technology Law and she trained also as cybersecurity manager and specialist. She has been admitted in the Women4Cyber roll managed by the European Commission’s Cybersecurity Atlas. 

From 2016 to 2018 she taught at Brunel University London the Internet Law I and II modules within the LLM International Business Law. 

Author of several legal publications, she has been a member of the board of Altroconsumo for several years. 

Valentina Apruzzi is admitted in the Bologna Lawyer’s roll and Solicitor Regulation Authority for England and Wales (no practice) 

She is a member of the Associazione Nazionale per la Protezione dei Dati (Italian Association for the Protection of Personal Data) and the Circolo dei Giuristi Telematici and Maestro della Protezione dei Dati & Data Protection Designer.

Chiara Danielli

Chiara Danielli graduated in law in 1999 and passed the bar exam in 2002 (Bologna Bar Association, reg. no. 6911). She is qualified to practise before the Higher Courts in Italy.

After working as a lay judge in the Criminal Court of Bologna for five years, she has been in-house counsel for financial intermediaries and banks. 

She assists clients in criminal law, specializing in anti-money laundering law, usury prevention, compliance and corporate criminal liability. She has served as external member of supervisory and control bodies organized pursuant to Legislative Decree 231/01 (concerning corporate liability) of several companies, as well as consultants to such bodies, in order to support and help them effectively manage the risks associated with their business activities. 

Clients trust her because of the way she listens to their needs, understands their problems and for her ability to find solutions.

Maria Cecilia Bonino

Maria Cecilia Bonino got her degree in law, cum laude, in 2005 and passed the bar exam in 2008 (Bologna Bar Association). 

She assists clients in commercial law, contracts and banking law.  

She also deals with judicial litigation and ADRs, fields in which she has gained broad experience. 

She puts great energy in her work, always punctual and reliable in taking care of the clients’ matters. 

When she is not working, she loves dancing, her lifelong passion.
